Who we are

What we collect

  • No accounts, no forms. You don’t need to give us your name or email to use any tool.
  • Calculator inputs are written into the page address (URL) so you can bookmark and share a plan. They reach our server only as part of normal page requests, which are processed by our hosting provider (see below).
  • Prices you enter are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are never sent to us. You can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
  • Theme preference (light or dark) is stored in local storage on your device.

Service providers

  • Hosting: Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request information (IP address, browser, pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.
  • Fonts: typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when fonts load. (Self-hosting the fonts before launch would remove this.)
  • Optional analytics: Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It measures page visits using the page path and title; our page-view event excludes calculator parameters and the referring URL. Google processes request information and may use analytics cookies. Choose “No thanks” to use every calculator without analytics, or change your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer. We disable Google Signals, advertising personalization and enhanced measurement. We do not display advertising.

Embedded calculator

If you use our calculator embedded on another website, the same rules apply: your inputs and prices stay in your browser.

Your rights

Because we don’t keep personal profiles, there is usually nothing for us to access or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning construction projects and isn’t directed at children.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new “updated” date.
